Answer to Question 1

30 degrees cephalic

Rationale: The L5-S1 AP axial projection requires a 30 degree cephalic tube angle to aid in opening up the joint space.

Answer to Question 2

overrotation

Rationale: The pedicle should be nearly centered on the vertebral body to indicate proper rotation was achieved. Underrotation will result with the pedicle still anterior on the vertebral body. Overrotation will result with the pedicle too posterior on the vertebra.
