AP oblique with medial rotation

Rationale: AP oblique with 30-40 degree medial rotation demonstrates near even separation between the metatarsals. The base of the 5th metatarsal is visualized well along with the space around the cuboid.

Answer to Question 2

increase 5-7 kVp

Rationale: Fiberglass casts may take no to very little increase in kVp. Plaster casts will require a 5-7 increase in kVp. Large plaster casts may take 8-10 increase in kVp.
