Answer to Question 2

Hughston method

Rationale: The patella can be seen in profile and the patellofemoral joint visualized with the Hughston method. The Hughston method places the patient prone. The knee is flexed 55 degrees and the CR angled 20 degrees from the long axis of the lower leg. The CR will pass inferior to superior through the patellofemoral joint.
