Answer to Question 1

parietoacanthial

Rationale: The parietoacanthial will bring the chin up, dropping the petrous pyramids inferior to the maxillary sinuses. The bony nasal septum is visible to include potential deviation.

Answer to Question 2

all of these answers apply

Rationale: The lateral c-spine will show the zygapophyseal joints for C3-7 only. The zygapophyseal joints for C1 and 2 are seen through the AP open mouth. The lateral c-spine will also allow for anterior to posterior alignment to be determined and the spinous processes will be seen in profile.
