produce higher contrast

Rationale: As grid ratio increases, less scatter radiation reaches the image receptor which improves contrast resolution of structures.

Answer to Question 2

OML

Rationale: The chin should be tucked until the OML is perpendicular to the IR. The MSP is also aligned perpendicular to the IR.
