Answer to Question 1

The six basic beliefs of Islam include: Oneness of one (Allah) who is the Creator of all things, Prophethood (angels and the other prophets of the Bible and Muhammad), belief in the revealed books of Allah (Quran plus sections from the Bible), life after death in which the believers will go to heaven and the unbelievers to hell, Qudr (Divine Destiny) whereby everything is pre-determined by Allah and human have limited free will. The five pillars of Islam include: Declaration of Faith (no God but Allah and Muhammad is the last messenger of Allah), five prayers each day, attendance by men at prayer services on Friday (optional for women), charity, observance of Ramadan (fasting), and a pilgrimage to Makkah (Haji).

Answer to Question 2

Catholicism includes belief in God as a trinity: God the Father who creates and sustains the world and who sent the Son Jesus Christ to be born, die and be resurrected to save people from their sins and give them eternal life with God (heaven). God is also the Holy Spirit who works in the hearts of people. It further emphasizes apostolic succession by which the authority given by Jesus to his apostles has been handed down to Catholic church leaders. The sacraments play a vital role in Catholicism.

Every flu season is different, and even healthy people can get extremely sick from the flu, as well as spread it to others. The flu season can begin as early as October and last as late as May. Every person over six months of age should get an annual flu vaccine. The vaccine cannot cause you to get influenza, but in some seasons, may not be completely able to prevent you from acquiring influenza due to changes in causative viruses. The viruses in the flu shot are killed—there is no way they can give you the flu. Minor side effects include soreness, redness, or swelling where the shot was given. It is possible to develop a slight fever, and body aches, but these are simply signs that the body is responding to the vaccine and making itself ready to fight off the influenza virus should you come in contact with it.
