Answer to Question 1

Judaism rests on three bases: God (creator and sustainer of the world), Torah (a legal system that prescribes a value orientation) and Israel (people or community)(the community of people). Judaism prescribes a series of rituals that support Gods relationship with the people.

Answer to Question 2

This philosophical system emphasizes harmonious relationships with others and the environment. It does not assert the existence of a deity but recognizes and promotes synchronization with Tien (Heaven, the Ultimate, or Tao).
