Answer to Question 1

ANS: C
Radial keratotomy reduces myopia (nearsightedness). Patients who have occupational requirements for a visual acuity level without the use of glasses or contact lenses, such as airline personnel, police, and firefighters, may be good candidates.

Answer to Question 2

ANS: F
Retrobulbar blocks are given behind the eyeball in order to obtain anesthesia of the globe and paralysis of the muscles. The block provides anesthesia and immobility and lowers IOP.
