Brachytherapy is the short-range treatment for many cancers. It uses tiny titanium cylinders that contain a radioactive isotope. They are implanted and deliver a dose of radiation from the inside out that kills cancer cells while sparing healthy tissue.

ANS: F
In MRI, the patient is exposed to bursts of alternating radiofrequency signals, not radiation. CT scanning uses radiation.
