ANS: F

Answer to Question 2

ANS: T
The family needs to be willing to assist the patient postoperatively and deal with their feelings and be knowledgeable about the patient's needs. The family's knowledge and understanding of the patient's needs, their coping skills, and their willingness to help are important factors in recovery.
