The surgical field must be stable and major adjustments should not be made during the surgical procedure.

ANS: F
All personnel in the OR as well as the patient who is awake must wear safety goggles with the correct optical density. If a patient is under general anesthesia, the eyelids can be taped shut. During ophthalmic procedures, corneal eye shields can be used.
