Patients should be lifted and not pulled. Skin is sensitive to abrasion because of decreased dermal thickness and turgor. Joints may not move as easily due to degenerative osteoarthritis.

ANS: T
The possibility of osteoporosis and heart disease is greater in older women who do not take estrogen replacements after menopause.
