Answer to Question 1

B
The most readily treated side effect of antipsychotic medications is dystonia. Clients may present with the head drawn forcefully to one side, with spasms of the mouth muscles, or with fixed tongue protrusion. Dystonic reactions typically occur within a few hours or days of starting an antipsychotic medications. It is generally treated with diphenhydramine (Benadryl) or other anticholinergic medications.

Answer to Question 2

B
Working with adolescents with mental health issues is more often likely to be challenging for nurses because of similarities between normal development and pathology. Adolescence is a period of turmoil for the individual. They are making physical, emotional, and social transitions that are a normal part of growth and development; they may appear to have a pathological origin to the untrained eye.
