Answer to Question 1

A
Persons who have a tendency toward what is called pessimistic attribution bias tend to have increased likelihood of becoming depressed. There is evidence that children and adolescents who previously have been depressed may learn, during their depression, to interpret events pessimistically and so develop a pessimistic attribution bias, which may predispose them to future episodes of depression.

Answer to Question 2

catecholamines
