Answer to Question 1

T

Answer to Question 2

C
The nurse should initially arrange with the family for the nurse to come to the farmhouse and meet with the farmer. This is an example of an identification and outreach activity, under the case management model. The nurse cannot call the police and ask that the farmer be brought in for possible hospitalization, as the farmer is no threat to himself or others. In addition the nurse should take a more active role than to simply tell the family that nothing can be done or that they should simply leave food for the farmer in the woods.
