Answer to Question 1

B
A common perceptual distortion associated with self-hypnosis is the sense of having slept for an hour. Since the mind is very flexible, the suggestion of an hour's sleep can actually create the sensation of having experienced an hour of sleep. The exercise can be very helpful when a mental rest is needed.

Answer to Question 2

C
Even when a nurse finds it difficult to accept an informed decision a parent has made, professional ethics clearly require that the decision be supported.
