Answer to Question 1

B
The undergraduate level of nursing does not prepare nurses to serve in the role of therapist for an outpatient group whose members are diagnosed with personality disorder. To serve in a therapist role, the nurse must have an advanced degree. Nurses at the undergraduate level are able to serve in the role of facilitator for socialization groups and self-help groups. They also are equipped to serve as leader for a medication group.

Answer to Question 2

A
Imagery involves the use of pictures, sounds, or sensations that are internal. It is an effective tool that can be applied anytime and anyplace. It involves the ability of the nurse to assist the client in imagining something more pleasant than the current situation.
