Answer to Question 2

B
The ECA found that alcoholism and substance use are among the most prevalent mental health disorders. To further explore this important area the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA) has conducted the National Epidemiologic Survey on Alcohol and Related Conditions (NEARC). Wave 1 of this study occurred in 2001-2002 and Wave 2 in 2004-2005 . NESARC confirms the widespread prevalence of alcohol and substance use.
