Answer to Question 1

D
Although running away may be a cry for help, an attempt to escape from an unbearable living situation, or both, it also can be a solution that would be chosen by an unmotivated youth who may have a conduct disorder. The most therapeutic intervention is one that initiates communication regarding the root of the child's behavior.

Answer to Question 2

B
