Answer to Question 1

A

Answer to Question 2

C
The statement, Tell me more about how you are feeling shows an empathetic approach. The nurse is using presence and active listening skills to try to understand the client's situation. Telling the client to cheer up or that things could be worse negates the importance of the issue to the client. Telling the client to express anger or change negative thinking also is not empathetic.
