Answer to Question 1

B
The presence of obsessive-compulsive personality disorder (OCPD) may be an asset for treatment compliance. As long as the nurse recognizes how important order and rules are to the client, the nurse can use the client's disorder as a tool to promote consistency in following treatment recommendations. In most cases, the client is willing to do what is in his or her best interest in terms of health, but the client requires clear and unambiguous instructions.

Answer to Question 2

A
The rate of serious mental illness in the incarcerated population is about three to four times that of the general U.S. population.
