Answer to Question 2

C
Cognitive-behavioral therapy has been highly successful in treating problems in which the client is intellectually intact. The client must be oriented in all three spheres and have the ability to complete homework assignments. It is inappropriate to conduct cognitive-behavioral therapy with one who is psychotic or demented, or unable or unwilling to cooperate actively with the therapist.
