Answer to Question 1

D
The antidepressant effects of antidepressant drugs are not often seen until 1 to 2 months after the beginning of treatment. Initially dosages are usually quite low. Over a period of 1 to 4 weeks the dosage is increased gradually, until there is clinical improvement for the client.

Answer to Question 2

D
Attempting to match clients to an alcoholism treatment program based on fit with personal characteristics results in no significant differences in effectiveness among the programs. In the 1998 MATCH study, none of the factors evaluated at entry (including gender, cognitive impairment, spirituality, motivation, social network support, level of anger, interpersonal dependency, prior AA involvement, social functioning, personality disorder or other psychiatric disorder, readiness to change) strongly predicted success in any of the three treatments used in the study.
