Answer to Question 1

B
Erikson's third stage of growth and development (initiative vs. guilt) occurs between the ages of 3 and 6 years old. Erikson describes intrusion as the sense of exploration and daring exhibited by children. They begin to develop physical and mental abilities that allow them to intrude physically and verbally through activity, locomotion, talking, and other methods of exercising curiosity. In developing initiative, the child demonstrates the ability to plan, set goals, and seek to carry out the plans to meet the goals.

Answer to Question 2

A
The World Health Organization (WHO) defined violence as The intentional use of physical force or power, threatened or actual, against oneself, another person or against a group or community, that either results in or has a high likelihood of resulting in injury, death, psychological harm, maldevelopment, or deprivation. The definition is found in the WHO 2002 report World Report on Violence and Health. Since that time the definition has been translated into multiple languages.
