Answer to Question 1

B
The only answer universally true for all clients in crisis is option B. A crisis represents a struggle for
equilibrium when problems seem unsolvable. Option A: Crisis does not reflect mental illness.
Options C and D: Potential for self-violence or other-directed violence may or may not be factors in
crisis.

Answer to Question 2

A
An individual who has developed a tolerance for a drug will show fewer signs of intoxication than a
nontolerant person who has used the same amount of the drug. Options C and D: Neither disulfiram
nor naltrexone use would account for the similarity in behaviors.
