Answer to Question 1

4
Fourth stage of the illness experience

Answer to Question 2

1 . D
2 . A
3 . C
4 . B
Nursing diagnoses are prioritized using Maslow's pyramid. Physiological needs come first: fluid balance precedes nutritional balance as a priority. The next level of the pyramid is safety and security, but none of the diagnoses relate to that level. The next level is love and belonging, which is compromised by loneliness. The next level is self-esteem.
