Answer to Question 1

3
Respect is an essential ingredient in caring for the elderly.

Answer to Question 2

A
Given that the theory underlying acupuncture is that it stimulates certain physiological responses that play a role in pain or other disorders, a reduced craving for alcohol would be the most appropriate expectation or outcome listed here for a complementary treatment for alcoholism. Complementary treatment would not be expected to relieve or prevent withdrawal. The other outcomes are not directly related to the patient's problem.
