Answer to Question 1

Ans: A
Feedback:
The aims of primary prevention are to stop mental disorders from ever occurring and to reduce identified cases of psychiatric disorders and disabilities within a population.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: D
Feedback:
Because clients voluntarily participate in treatment, they also may willingly suspend it. However, although clients request discharge, the physician and interdisciplinary treatment team ultimately decide whether discharge is appropriate. A client's status may change from voluntary to involuntary if the treatment team decides the person is a threat to self or others.
