Answer to Question 1

Ans: B

Feedback:

After phase 3, the FDA grants a labeled indication to a drug for use in a specific illness.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: C
Feedback:
Use of clozapine requires weekly monitoring of white blood cell (WBC) counts to assess for agranulocytosis. Clozapine suppresses the development of WBCs in 1 to 2 of all clients who take it. If WBC levels decrease significantly from baseline, immediate discontinuation of clozapine is recommended. Clients never should use clozapine with other agents that suppress WBC production, such as carbamazepine.
