The case manager assumes a coordinating role in the home setting and is responsible for oversee-ing the treatment plan. 1. The physician does not assume this role. 3. No data exist to indicate the need for an aide. In addition, case management is a complex responsibility and is better suited to a professional. 4. A legal guardian would not likely have the expertise to manage care.
