Answer to Question 1

Ans: D
Interventions to promote sleep hygiene include encouraging relaxing activities in the late evening in order to lead into a reasonable bedtime and restful sleep. It would be unacceptable to encourage the client's family to bring in medications, and a benzodiazepine would be a later or last resort to promote sleep. Exercise should be avoided later in the evening.

Answer to Question 2

Ans: D
Attributing an illness to punishment or discipline by a higher power suggests a spiritually based barrier to treatment.
