Answer to Question 1

Dont Talk to the Screen. Its hard to hear what you are saying, it is rude to turn your back on your audience. You cant make eye contact if you arent facing forward.
Dont Read Graphics Word-for-word to the Audience. Reading to an audience may be perceived as arrogant or patronizing. It also makes it look like you are unprepared; you dont know the material well enough to look away from it.
Dont Gawk at Your Visuals. Dont give the audience the impression you have never seen your graphics before.
Dont Point Out Mistakes or Poorly Designed Graphics. Small errors may hurt your reputation for being careful and thorough but there is no reason to disparage your own work, thus hurting your credibility. If its not important, leave it alone.

Answer to Question 2

To be able to use the notes you make on the Notes pane during a presentation, you must print them out on paper and have them in front of you when you give your talk, because you wont be able to see them on the screen.
