Plagiarism (sometimes called academic dishonesty) involves the intentional or unintentional taking of someone elses words or ideas and passing them off as your own.
Infringement is both a civil and criminal matter involving the taking of someone elses propertyin this case his or her wordsand using that property without obtaining or paying for permission.
