Answer to Question 1

a. Develop a work plan and stick to it. Since you wont physically run into your team members, your work plan helps keep everyone focused.
b. Communicate regularly. Consistent communication helps the project rolling forward. If a team member hasnt communicated regularly, track him or her down.
c. Hold teleconferences and videoconferences. This allows team members to exchange ideas in real time. Stick to your meeting agenda.

a. In forming, team members define the mission, set objectives, define responsibilities, and establish a schedule.
b. In storming, team members handle disagreements, experience tension and anxiety, doubt leadership, address conflict, and feel uncertain and frustrated.
c. In norming, team members begin to accept their responsibilities and roles in the project, and criticism will become increasingly constructive as team members strive to achieve the projects mission and objectives.
d. In performing, team members become comfortable with their project and their roles within it. They begin to anticipate and respect each others needs and abilities.
