Answer to Question 1

The hen nestles the chicks under her fluffed-up breast feathers and wings to keep them warm.

Answer to Question 2

The onset of Dippity Pig syndrome is sudden and can vary in severity from pig to pig. Pigs become sensitive to being touched on the rear quarters and may demonstrate a hunkered-down posture with the tail tucked between the rear legs. The pig may have weakness in the back legs and may be unable to walk. Moist, red areas may develop into lesions that appear along the back, oozing serum or blood
