Wildlife advocates argue that agriculture or any other type of encroachment should not be allowed to interfere with the habitat of wildlife. Those with the opposing view say that a strong agriculture is essential to the survival of humans, and that it should be given priority regardless of the consequences to wildlife.

Answer to Question 2

Sustainable agriculture is a philosophy based on the ideas that agriculture must meet the food and fiber needs of people and at the same time protect the environment. It also involves using production techniques that ensure that future generations will have the ability to produce food and fiber to fill their needs.
