Answer to Question 1

The colonial nosegay can be made in advance because the flowers have a source of water.

Answer to Question 2

The first original method of cloning involves the use of an instrument called a micromanipulator that allows the technician to hold and split the embryo into two halves. Each half is implanted and develops into a normal newborn animal.

The second method uses an unfertilized egg from which all of the genetic material is removed. One cell is removed from an embryo and the cell is fused into the unfertilized egg. The genetic material from the embryo cell controls the growth and development of the egg into an embryo that is then transplanted. Using this method allows several embryos to be developed from one embryo.
