Answer to Question 1

corn

Answer to Question 2

Bees store nectar in six-sided cells that join to create a honeycomb. The cells are made from wax secreted from glands on the bees' bodies. The bees work the wax particles loose from their bodies and use them to shape the cells into perfect hexagonal storage containers. The hexagonal shape of the cells creates the perfect storage space for honey and pollen. Although the walls of the cells are very thin, they are strong enough to bear the weight of the honey or the developing brood.
