Answer to Question 1

F

Answer to Question 2

The horse's skeletal system is composed of strong bones connected with ligaments, which give the horse a fluid, gliding movement and the rider comfort. Long bones in the legs and hip aid in the long stride of the horse and act like a lever in propelling the horse. Massive muscles down the back, over the croup, and down the legs give the horse the ability to pull loads and sustain hard work for long periods. The horse's feet are especially well suited for carrying loads.
