Animals must have access to pasture throughout the grazing season while forages are growing. Grazing animals must consume at least 30 of the diet's dry matter intake from pasture grazed during the grazing season. Grazing seasons must be a minimum of at least 120 days in length. No hormones are allowed to promote growth or milk production. No antibiotics are allowed to treat diseases such as mastitis. All feed fed to livestock must be certified organic.
