Plants grown for interior culture have been raised in controlled environments and provided with what
they need to produce the best-looking, healthiest plant in the shortest amount of time. The limiting
factors associated with indoor plant culture are light, water, and nutrition along with keeping out or at
least lessening the effects of insects and disease. Overall, they have had a coddled upbringing, but
maintain the genetics tempered by natural selection of their relations in the wild.
