Landscaping is the act of taking a certain plot of ground, usually in its natural state, and redesigning it to be more comfortable, attractive, and useful for humans or other animals.

Answer to Question 2

It assures that all costs are recognized, permits a fair price for the customer, and allows a comparison of the efficiency of different crews on the same task.
