When a feature repeats itself enough times with a standard interval between repetitions, such as equally spaced lampposts or benches, it establishes a visual rhythm.

When the entire plant dies, microorganisms help to return the nutrient material the plant took from the soil back to the soil. This is the carbon cycle.
