The dimensions of standard cinder block are 7 5/8 in high and 15 5/8 in. long when they are laid with a
3/8-in. mortar joint.

Reinforced concrete refers to concrete slabs strengthened by using steel reinforcing rods or wire mesh.
For example, cement that will carry vehicles or machinery must be reinforced.
