Answer to Question 1

A cycle is the flow of current through one positive thrust followed by flow through one negative
thrust. One cycle per second is defined as a hertz. The wave created by the flow of current through one
cycle is called a sine wave.

Answer to Question 2

Conductance is the opposite of resistance. It is a measure of how well a material allows electricity to
pass through it. Resistance is the tendency of a material to prevent electricity flow.
