When GMAW welding, you should carefully follow the manufacturer's recommendations, check all
cables, wear leather gloves, body jackets, and chaps, use an approved helmet; when the switch is on,
never touch electrical connections or the welding wire; never weld in wet locations; be sure there are
no flammable materials in your pockets; handle hot metal with pliers or tongs; weld only in a
well-ventilated place; when finished, make sure equipment is turned off and stored safely.
