When cutting a bevel, the following steps are required: (1) elevate the saw about 2 inches above the
table, (2) loosen the bevel latch, (3) swing the saw assembly to the desired angle as shown on the bevel
scale, (4) tighten the bevel latch, (5) lower the saw to the table, and then (6) proceed.
