A fire extinguisher should be located next to the place where that particular class of fire would likely
occur. They should also be located in clean, dry, easy-to-reach places, near exits, and positioned where
they are easily removed.

The four common types of fire extinguishers are water with pump or gas pressure, carbon dioxide gas,
dry chemical, or a blanket.
