Answer to Question 1

A radioactive area is marked by black and yellow stripes.

Answer to Question 2

Two characteristics of safety glasses and/or goggles are the impact-resistant lenses and side shields.
Also, they should fit the face and be kept clean for proper visibility. Shaded lenses are needed for
welding. Single-piece goggles and cup goggles are used where special eye protection is needed for
chemicals, flying objects, or damaging light.
