English breeds originated in the British Isles and include Hereford, Angus, Shorthorn, Galloway,
Devon, and Red Poll.



Answer to Question 2

Colostrum is the milk that a cow produces for a short time after calving. It contains antibodies that
protect the newborn animal from diseases until it can build up its own natural defenses.
